Sometimes When I Open My Mouth My MOTHER comes out! #ProudToBeMyMum

“To the Woman who showed me how to be an independent and strong  woman.”

You are the woman who gave life to me, the woman who brought me into this World, the woman who raised me, nurtured me, fed me, taught me and disciplined the hell out of me when I got out of line (more often than not).

“And I realized, when you look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know.”

My mother is something if I start writing about, I know for a fact that I’ll never stop. I can talk about her 24/7, 365 days straight. And believe me I CAN and never get tired.  *Shrugs*  She is like that!!!

She is that one person who could get me through anything whether it was good or bad. She gives me the strength to speak my mind, and the courage to face anything head on. Without you I could not be the person I am today, and I really like the person I am. You know why? because people tell me I’m my Mother’s reflection. *sighs*.

Everything about Her inspires me. One thing I always hated and loved about her is.. She’s selfless…

Love it because.. Of course, being selfless makes you a wonderful person. A person who is contented. A person who is positive. She is all of them.

Hate it because.. People would do bad to her, will come back to her when they’d need help or would want to rant or complain about life. They’d forget her when they’re happy and only remember her when they want someone to support them, or listen to them…

I know that only says, how people would think my Mother is the light in their dark lives.. But still…. *sighs*   My mother, the best thing that she taught me was to stay close to my friends, but closer to my enemies. By that she meant that if someone hates you and wants to hurt you, doesn’t mean that you go to the same level to treat them. But Instead, what you can do is be nice to them and take care of them, so that they can realize that there is no point in holding grudges and harming each other.

Most important personality feature she taught me… Patience.. it’s something that many people lack, but to be honest I’ve never seen anyone as patient as my mother. She is so humble and kind that she always prayed for the people who wanted to cause harm to her.

A few saying she’d always tell me when I’m in certain situations…

  • If at first you don’t succeed, do it like your Mother told you.
  • Everyone and everything happens for a reason. *sighs*
  • This too shall pass.
  • Are you THAT weak? I thought You were MY daughter, huh? – lol she has her attitude.
  • What goes around, comes around.
  • MIND matter.
  • Dinner choices: Take it or Leave it. :)))

And trust me when I tell you there’s story behind every statement I quoted there.

The journey of learning never ends… she keeps teaching, I keep learning. The thing I am always going to remember, She taught me the Power of Silence, of how sometimes strongest answer is no answer at all. Its silence that we walk together, always conscious of presence that leads us and teach us how to lead in difficult times.

I wish I could put into words how much I look up to you, Mummah! I guess the only thing I could really say is Thank You. Thank You for being the person you “are”. Thank you for being an amazing role model. The Best. And Thank you for being the BEST MOTHER you could possibly be.

I love you with every ounce of my being.”

                                                        One Proud Daughter….                                                       #ProudToBeMyMum

PS: I couldn’t use “was” “were” or anything which could show that she was a PAST.
